Services can be calculated at item level as usual on the basis of the unit price or the total price. Otherwise, a few fundamental things have changed.
The calculation is divided into two areas: costs and sales (including surcharges). Surcharges are awarded for specific types of costs, such as “materials.”
You can choose from the following cost types: wage, material, equipment, external services and other. You can add multiple “cost blocks” per category. Cost blocks in the same category are added up and can then be added to them.
In each calculation, we will now show you how long it will take you to provide this service.
You've calculated all the items in your offer and are ready for the final touches. This is exactly what the new overall calculation makes possible.
The overall calculation at the end of the document shows you how many costs and surcharges you have included in the various cost types (wage, materials, etc.) across all items.
You can also adjust the surcharges at this level. If you do this, the difference is calculated back to all items with the respective cost type (salary, materials, etc.).
For a more efficient calculation, you can make certain default settings.
Under Settings//Calculation//Surcharge Rates, you can store your standard surcharge rates, which are then adopted as default in the document.
You can calculate your wage costs in Settings. These too are then automatically transferred to your documents.
Note: The hourly billing rate is only used as a check here. As with materials, equipment, etc., the costs and surcharges are covered separately in the documents.
